Alfresco Outdoor Kitchen & Dining Area
A custom outdoor kitchen with concrete benchtops and a finished alfresco dining area in Kincumber.

Project overview
This Kincumber family cooked outdoors most of the year on a barbecue wedged against the back wall, carrying plates and drinks in and out of the house every time. They wanted a real outdoor kitchen — bench space, storage, and a dining area that worked as its own room.
We built the cabinetry framework and cladding for a full alfresco kitchen, set up to carry poured concrete benchtops and a built-in barbecue. Everything was framed with weather exposure in mind: moisture-resistant substrates, ventilated cavities behind the doors, and hardware rated for outdoor use. The layout keeps the cooking zone clear of the seating so the cook is part of the conversation instead of stuck facing a wall.
Alongside it we finished the alfresco dining area, tying the ceiling, lighting and floor level into the kitchen so the whole space reads as one deliberate design. The family now eat outside for most of the year. It is the kind of project that genuinely changes how a Central Coast home is lived in, not just how it looks.
