Jay — Director & Lead Carpenter
Jay is a fully qualified carpenter with more than 20 years on the tools. His experience spans both domestic and commercial work — new homes, extensions and renovations through to commercial fitouts and larger construction sites — and that range comes with him to every job Shore Carpentry takes on.
The business focuses on residential carpentry across the Central Coast. That means decks, pergolas and outdoor living areas. It also means kitchen and bathroom renovations, timber framing, cladding, doors, windows and general carpentry repairs.
The commercial background shows up in the way a job is run — proper set-out, a realistic programme, and a site that stays tidy from the first day to the last.
Shore Carpentry is a small team on purpose. Jay quotes the job, turns up, and does the work alongside his own carpenters. The person you deal with at the start is the person responsible at the end.
