Laundry Renovation

Laundries are the most-used and least-loved room in most homes. This Lisarow laundry was cramped, poorly laid out, and wasting most of its floor area on nothing useful.

We renovated the room end to end: stripped it back, set out a new layout, and fitted cabinetry that made proper use of every available millimetre. In a small room, ten millimetres either side decides whether a machine fits under a bench or sits awkwardly proud of it, so the set-out was measured against the actual appliances rather than nominal sizes. A new sink was installed with cabinetry built around it, and tiling was completed to a clean finish with junctions and edges properly detailed.

Storage was the main win — the owners went from a single shelf to full-height cupboards, with bench space for folding that they simply did not have before. Small-room renovations reward careful planning more than any other job type, and they are among the most cost-effective improvements available.
